Karen Ellis has 30 years of experience as a management consultant, 20 of which she has spent focused on individual and organisational change. For the past 17 years, she has been heavily involved in the field of vertical development.
Her private sector clients include Barclays, Danone, Fujitsu, Sony and Virgin Media. She has also worked extensively in the public sector - for instance, with NHS Leadership, the Civil Service College and the Leadership Centre for Local Government - helping senior leaders develop their capacity to lead in highly ambiguous and uncertain environments.
Together with Richard Boston, she co-authored the book "Upgrade - Building your capacity for complexity", exploring personal and professional transformation through internal system enhancement.
